VALENTINE’S DAY AT ICCT. Mascom students organized the recently concluded “A Toast for Heart’s Day”. It was a variety show , dating game participated by the Mr. & Ms. ICCT 2008 winners, and entertainments from the ICCT Yin Yang Movers and Sibol. While the College of Business had a booth selling flowers, chocolates and other novelty items that commemorate this special occasion. |

ICCT COLLEGES NOW IN BINANGONAN (RIZAL). The ground breaking ceremony of the 2,500 sqm Binangonan Campus was held last March 10, 2009 headed by the Chairman, Dr. William S. Co and President, Dr. Consuelo L. Co, with guests of honor - Gov. Casimiro “Jun” Ynares, M.D. (Rizal), Mayor Cecilio “Boyet” Ynares (Binangonan) and the members of Binangonan Municipal Councils. This is the 8th campus of ICCT Colleges in the province of Rizal bringing the most affordable and innovative quality education to the community. |

In support to the government program on saving our environment, Dr. William Co initiated this activity last October 2008 in coordination with NSTP Department and the Office of Student Affairs. It was participated by the students of San Mateo, Antipolo, Cogeo and Taytay campuses. |

THE 2ND HRM SKILLS OLYMPICS - THE GRANDSHOWDOWN was held last December 6, 2008 at the Event Center of SM City-Taytay. Participants competed in various categories - table skirting, wine mixing, food preparation, table napkin folding, bartending and wedding set-up exhibition. ICCT Colleges - Sumulong Campus bagged the over-all-champion award. It was a well-attended event with more than 2,000 spectators and students from the different campuses of ICCT Colleges. |

Medicines were given for free while a bag of goodies were also given to all patients courtesy of the Charity Outreach Committee. |

THE 1ST MID-YEAR COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES. With the growing number of graduates, the administration undertakes a mid-year graduation ceremony last December 22, 2008 at the Teatro Marikina, Marikina City. The 400+ graduates were deeply honored with the inspiring message from the commencement speaker, Dr. Edgardo Lacson, President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Other honorable guests were Gov. Casimiro :Jun” Ynares, M.D., Dir. Isabel F. Inlayo, Ed.D. of CHED, and P/Dir. Velma S. Salazar of TESDA. |

THE 16TH CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONGRESS was held on March 13, 2009 at the Audio Visual Room of ICCT Colleges – Cainta Campus. This annual event organized by the Guidance Center for graduating students is part of the college goal for their employment competitiveness and goals to minimize their stress in finding a job as well as maximizing the results.
Free Call Center Training
FREE Call Center Training at ICCT Colleges - Taytay Campus. On July 25, 2008, a memorandum of agreement between NCO Group (Philippines) and ICCT Colleges Foundation, Inc. was signed at the ABS-CBN Tower, Quezon City. The partnership program provides trainings and job opportunity for ICCT graduates and residence of Rizal as part of the college’s community extension services program.

September news update
ICCT Colleges initiates its own intensified program for Board Examination Review and Pre-board Examinations conducted by the Review Committee. Graduates of Criminology, Education, Accountancy, Engineering (ECE) and Certificate in Teaching Program (CTP) which are guided and competently prepared. This program is partnered with the Philippine Normal University to maximize the potentials of graduates in passing the PRC licensure examinations.
PISTANG PINOY SA ICCT COLLEGES, a “Buwan ng Wika” celebration, was successfully staged last August 23, 2008 at the Main Campus (Cainta) Gymnasium. It was organized by the College of Education headed by Mrs. Zenaida Nicolas and Prof. Raul Pineda in cooperation with KAMFIL. All of the 7 campuses joined the competition in various categories - “Sabayang Pagbigkas”, “Solong Pag-awit”, “Debate”, “Paggawa ng Poster”, “Sayaw Pinoy” and “Lutong Pinoy”.
CHAIRMAN’S DAY CELEBRATION. The Founder and Chairman of ICCT Colleges, Dr. William S. Co, celebrated his 61st birthday last July 29, 2008. The four-hour extravagant event was participated by not less than 250 employees with their well-prepared and impressive production numbers as a gift to the celebrant, indeed, Dr. Co deserves to be recognized on this special day for his being compassionate and philanthropic reputation.
LIBRENG GAMUTAN. This Medical Mission Program is annually organized by the Eastern Rizal Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in celebration of the birthday of its Founding President, Dr. William S. Co. It was in collaboration with Hon. Gov. Casimiro “Jun” Ynares III, M.D. of Rizal province and the municipality of Cainta headed by Hon. Mayor Ramon Ilagan since the mission was held at the Exodus Elementary School, Cainta, Rizal.
Medical team from ICCT Colleges - Sumulong Campus was led by Dr. Veronica Co whoassisted and treated more than 1,000 patients.
Pi Lambda Theta Meet - Sunshine Group headed by its President, Dr. Ester Vasquez had recently conducted the “GLOBAL CHALLENGES TO OUR VALUES AND LIFESTYLE SEMINAR” on August 23, 2008 at the AVR of ICCT Colleges - Sumulong Campus. Resource speakers were Ms. Rebecca Ortega, Human Resource Facilitator of Life Coach and Practitioner of Meditation, Dr. Ester Vasquez, President of Cebu Normal University, and Dr. Eden Kelemen, Board Member of Pi Lambda Theta. ICCT Colleges sponsored the participation of students and Guidance Counselors from various public high schools in the province of Rizal through the initiative of Ms. Vivien Co, EVP of the college and also an officer of the said honor society - the Pi Lambda Theta.
